The White Horse Shooting Club was founded in the summer of 2015 to facilitate Clay Pigeon shooting events and competitions for patrons of the White Horse. We operate the club as a not for profit entity for our enjoyment of the sport with all proceeds going towards the shoot, member events, end of season prizes and end of season meal for members.
We meet regularly at either Mill Farm or Hownhall shooting ground on up to two Sundays a month between September and June from 9:45 in the morning. Why not come along and join us, you may be taking away a prize at the end of season meal… Every member is eligible for prizes and free entry to our end of season meal!
Upon arrival at the shooting ground enjoy tea and coffee whilst registration takes place. We will organise which stands to shoot from on the ground, hand out score cards and split up into groups of 4 to 6.
Shooting starts at 10am and normally completes before 12. Shoot the stands in the order you wish to so there is limited time waiting around for a stand to free up. Once finished return your score cards back to us with your name written on it so we can record your attendance and performance for prize giving at the end of season. It is not only our top guns who are in the running, so every shot counts! Return back to the White Horse Pub for a synopsis of the shoot. Members receive a 10% discount on food* at the pub, so why not book a table for lunch!
Our number one aim is to have fun and enjoy the sport!
Safety is the highest priority. If in doubt ask either a member of the shooting ground staff or a committee member. The committee members reserve the right to refuse membership or even revoke existing membership without justification or compensation.
*Note: discount not in conjunction with any other promotion or offer that may apply. Please present your membership card to a member of staff at the pub to claim your parties discount on food.
Members of the WHSC is restricted to patrons of The White Horse in Easebourne or immediate family members of a patron. Membership runs from date of joining through to the 30th September of the current season.

Insurance and Indemnity
Members and guests of the WHSC attend under the insurance of the ground in which we shoot. The WHSC does not carry its own insurance policy. All members and guests will indemnify the WHSC and attend at their own risk.
